Unwanted

Success has many fathers,
Yet Failure has but one.
The unlucky child of nature
Who is always claimed by none.

Alluring like the shining sun,
Success attracts all, far and wide.
While Failure is locked away,
An embarrassment to hide.

One can’t be without the other,
They are bound without a key,
But Success is the one who’s sought
And Failure, rejected eternally.

In life, the both will come,
Hand in hand like brothers,
So why should we celebrate one,
Always fearing the other?
